Tai Chi Improve Body Balance

Tai Chi exercise may increase the balance of the body especially the parents. According to recent research of Dr. William Tsang from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, diminished eyesight and even parents can improve their balance and avoid falling by practicing Tai Chi.
Like the site proclaimed the Daily Mail, experts say the gentle martial art that can build strength and also improve balance control. This can reduce the likelihood of falling for elderly people, especially those who have a vision that has been reduced.
Researchers doing research with the live program for four months, involving as many as 40 people aged over 70 years. They are welcome to stay at home care, to undergo a series of activities to be investigated.
The volunteers were living Tai Chi exercises three times a week, for 90 minutes each workout. Each training session is designed to help volunteers master their weight gradually. The twist of the head and torso-torso make parts of their bodies become more sensitive, so as to improve the coordination of every part of their body. Gentle yet effective, Tai Chi is an exercise that is perfect for parents.
The results, published in The Age and Ageing Journal, revealed volunteers who practice has much better balance than the control group who were taught to play musical instruments. Study author Dr. William Tsang said: "Tai Chi can be a form of exercise suitable for those with impaired vision, and indeed help to improve their balance control."
